Paul is the team's technical reviewer, which in practice means he's the editor who reads the small print. He has fifteen years of experience pulling apart manufacturer spec sheets, validating performance claims with first-principles math, and identifying the spec games that hide a product's actual capability. His reviews are particularly valuable on appliances and electronics where the difference between two products is one cooling fan, one capacitor grade, or one extra year of warranty coverage — and where the marketing absolutely won't tell you that.
