Why it's worth it

The Duo Meal Station holds 74 ounces and runs two steam baskets at the same time, so you can cook pears and peas in one session. It also warms bottles and sterilizes, which retires a couple of other gadgets.

Nothing else here holds this much. At 74 ounces — about 9.25 cups — the Babymoov roughly doubles the next-largest machine. If you cook once a week and freeze everything, that's the difference between one session and three. For twins, it's not really optional.

Two baskets means two foods at once. You can steam apples in one and carrots in the other, which is genuinely useful when you've got a toddler on chunky textures and a baby on purées. Every other machine here makes you run two cycles and wash between them.
