Why it's worth it

The wide opening is the whole argument. You can drop in ice cubes, dump in electrolyte powder without a funnel, reach a sponge all the way inside, and read the ounce and milliliter lines as you fill. If you're trying to drink more water and want to see where you stand at 2 p.m., that last part matters more than it sounds. Nothing here is clever. The bottle is just shaped so you never have to work around it.

Cleaning is where cheaper bottles lose you. This one goes on the top rack of the dishwasher, and the inside corners are curved rather than square, so nothing collects in a seam you can't reach.
