Why it's worth it

The Teddi gives you power recline, swivel and glide with deeper cushioning and a pocket-coil seat, plus USB-A and USB-C ports built in. Get it if you want a softer, more traditional-looking chair that still earns its place in a living room later.

The Teddi's seat is built more like a living-room armchair than like nursery furniture. High-resiliency foam sits over a pocket-coil spring, where most gliders use foam alone. Coils spread your weight and resist the permanent dent that forms where you always sit. That's usually how a cheap glider dies, long before the frame gives out. If you plan to keep this chair past the nursery years, that construction matters.

The charging ports are more useful than they sound. There's a USB-A port, a USB-C port and an on/off light on the chair. You feed with one hand and scroll with the other, and your phone always dies at the worst moment. Having power right there means you're not hunting for a cable in the dark with a baby asleep on you.
