OlarHike 10 Set Compression Packing Cubes for Travel Essentials,Compressible Expandable Space Saver Bags for Organizing Clothes,Luggage Suitcase Garment Bags with Over 1000 pcs Mesh Holes(Black)

Why it's worth it

Four compression cubes in XL through S, plus a hanging toiletry bag, a shoe bag, a washable laundry bag and a pouch. It's the whole travel-organization aisle in one box, sized for suitcases up to 32 inches.

Most three-piece sets assume one person and one carry-on. This one assumes a family, or two weeks abroad. The XL cube swallows coats and jeans, and the extra pieces cover the jobs cubes don't: shoes go in the shoe bag instead of contaminating everything they touch, and worn clothes go in the washable laundry bag from day one instead of migrating through the suitcase.

The hanging toiletry bag is the sleeper hit. Hotel bathroom counters are small, and half of them have no counter at all. Hook this on the back of the door and your toothbrush, razor and medications sit in front of you instead of in a pile by the sink. It's the piece owners mention keeping even after they've replaced the cubes.

• +The hanging toiletry bag is the sleeper hit
• +The compression cubes work the same way BAGAIL's do — an outer zipper that pulls the walls in on flat-folded clothes — and…
• +If you're packing for more than yourself, the arithmetic is simple

What to know

• –The polyester isn't in the same class as ripstop nylon, and a handful of owners report a hole or a seam giving way early
• –Ten pieces is a lot for one person on a long weekend — you'll end up using four and storing six
