Why it's worth it

Six cubes in mixed sizes, each with a middle compression zipper and a half-mesh top. It's the set to buy if you want to find out whether cubes change how you pack before you commit to a premium brand.

Six cubes is more than most sets give you, and it changes how you pack. You can hand one to each family member, or split your own clothes into tops, bottoms, socks, underwear, accessories and a spare layer. Owners who've used cubes for a decade often keep a few of these in a dresser or an RV closet between trips, which tells you something about how they hold up.

The compression is real, but it works around the edges. The middle zipper pulls the perimeter inward, so folded flat items lose noticeable height while whatever sits in the center stays a bit lofty. Owners who expected vacuum-bag results say so plainly. Treat it as a way to fit a couple more shirts per cube, not as a way to pack half as much.
