Why it's worth it

The KOOLTAIL pads come two to a pack in the largest size in this guide, roughly 36 by 41 inches, with a soft four-layer build. You give up pad count and thickness, but you get more floor coverage than anything else here.

More coverage is the simplest fix for bad aim. Puppies miss. They stand on the edge, turn around mid-stream, back up too far. Extra inches on every side catch what a smaller pad wouldn't, and this is the largest pad in the guide. If you've been mopping a ring around your current pad every morning, the problem may just be footprint rather than absorbency.

The thinner four-layer build dries much faster than the quilted pads. That matters a lot when you only have two. Wash one in the morning and it can be back on the floor by evening, which keeps a two-pack workable in a way a heavy pad never would be.
