Why it's worth it

The Beetles UV Nail Lamp gives you dual UV/LED curing, 30 LEDs, a motion sensor, and a 120-second setting for builder gel. It's a plain lamp that does the actual job, and it costs a fraction of what the salon-grade options do.

It has the one feature budget lamps usually drop: dual light. UV and LED output together means your older formulas cure alongside your newer ones. Cheaper lamps often go LED-only to save money, then leave you with a tacky, streaky finish on half your collection. This one doesn't make you sort your polish drawer by wavelength before you start.

The 120-second preset is unusual at this level. Most inexpensive lamps top out at 60 seconds, which under-cures builder gel and extensions no matter how many passes you do. Beetles gives you 30 for regular color, 60 for base and dark shades, and 120 for the thick stuff. If you're learning builder gel at home, that longest setting is the one you'll rely on.
