Why it's worth it

The Qrevo S Pro empties, washes and dries at the dock, lifts its mop 10mm on carpet, and runs Roborock's mapping. You give up some mop-lift clearance and dock polish, but the daily experience is close to the top pick's.

You don't have to spend flagship money for genuinely hands-free floor care. The dock empties into a sealed 2.7L bag that lasts seven to nine weeks, washes the mops at 167°F and dries them with warm air. Two years ago that combination lived only in flagship models. You're not getting a stripped-down empty-only base here, which is the compromise most budget robots still make.

The anti-tangle setup is built for shedding households. A zero-tangle side brush, an all-rubber main brush and an omnidirectional wheel that's easy to clear. Rubber rollers are the single most useful feature if you own a long-haired dog — Wirecutter found rubber rollers needed clearing only every three to four weeks in heavy-shedding homes, roughly an 80% cut in brush maintenance compared with bristle rollers.
