Read that wattage claim carefully. The 3,000-watt figure is a locked-motor rating — what the motor pulls at the instant it stalls, not what it makes while grinding. STX says so plainly in its own listing: normal draw under load runs 800 to 1,200 watts. That's still real power for a home machine, and the honesty is more than most budget brands bother with.

What you get here is breadth. Five plates cover everything from a fine pâté grind to a coarse chili grind, three blades mean you're not sharpening mid-project, and the stuffing tubes and kubbe attachment let you try things you'd never buy a separate machine for. Bought individually for another grinder, those accessories usually cost more than the gap between the two machines.
