Perfect Fitness Ab Carver Pro Roller Wheel With Built In Spring Resistance, At Home Core Workout Equipment, Red

Why it's worth it

The Ab Carver Pro is a single wide-tread roller with a carbon steel spring in the hub that pushes back on the way out and gives a little energy back on the way in. The angled grips keep your wrists in a kinder position.

The spring inside the hub is the reason to buy this one. Perfect Fitness calls it a kinetic engine, and it's a carbon steel torsion spring housed in the wheel. It loads up as you roll out, so your abs and lats have to work harder before you reach full extension. Then it gives some of that energy back as you pull in. You still do the work. You're just less likely to flatten out on the floor and have to crawl back up.

The angled grips keep your wrists happier. The handles sit turned inward rather than straight across, which lines your forearms up more naturally and cuts the sideways bend at the wrist. If you've ever ended a set at rep eight because your wrists hurt and not your abs, that's the fix. It's the first roller we'd point toward if you've had wrist or elbow trouble.
