Why it's worth it

The Giantex holds 1.34 cubic feet — noticeably more than the 0.9-cubic-foot class — and runs a complete wash, rinse and spin without you touching it. Ten programs and eight water levels give you more control than most machines at this size.

The extra drum space changes what you can wash in one go. A 1.34-cubic-foot honeycomb tub takes about 12 pounds, which is five or six outfits plus underwear, or a modest stack of towels. That's the difference between one load and two on a typical week. If the COMFEE' sounds right but you keep doing math about capacity, this is the answer.

It runs the whole sequence unattended. Load it, press start, and it washes, rinses and spins without a hand-off.
