Why it's worth it
Six ingredients is extraordinarily restrained for a category where competitor labels routinely run to 25 entries. For ingredient-conscious owners, the combination of a transparent formula and VOHC-backed efficacy is genuinely compelling — you are getting proven dental outcomes without a chemistry set.
From our review of 11 dog dental chews, by James Bennett, Associate Editor
What we like
- +Only 6 natural ingredients — one of the cleanest formulas in the entire dental chew category
- +Vegetarian, non-GMO, no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives
- +Scientifically designed to address all 4 areas vets check: breath, tartar, plaque, and gums
- +44-count value box provides strong per-unit economics at $49.99 (approximately $1.14 per chew)
What to know
- –At $49.99 upfront, the highest list price on this roundup
- –Medium size is calibrated for dogs 25-40 lbs
- –Not as broadly stocked in grocery or mass-market stores as Greenies or Dentastix
