Why it's worth it

A pair of rack-mounted bags holding about 17 liters each, with a rain cover for the days the fabric alone isn't enough. If you bought an e-bike to stop driving to the store, this is the accessory that makes that actually happen.

Two full paper grocery bags, a work setup, a change of clothes — that's what 34 liters across two bags looks like in practice. Owners doing a weekly shop say one side swallows a laptop, lunch and a jacket with room left over. The bags hang low on either side of the rack, so a heavy load sits under your center of gravity instead of swinging around above it.

The shape is the detail worth noticing. The bags are cut back at an angle right where your heel swings, so you won't clip them on every pedal stroke the way you do with boxier bags. Six straps hold them down and two side hooks stop the bounce on rough pavement. It's fussy the first time and fine forever after — most riders leave them mounted and carry the bags off by the handle.
