Why it's worth it

It's a touch over six pounds, lies flat to get under the bed, and uses an anti-tangle brush that keeps dog hair from spooling up. On hard floors and thin rugs it clears litter, crumbs and tumbleweeds of fur without any drama.

Most pet messes aren't deep-carpet messes. They're hair along the baseboards, litter tracked out of the box, and a drift of fur under the dining chairs. For that work, this is plenty of vacuum. Levoit specifies up to 50 minutes with the crevice or pet tool in eco, 30 minutes with the floor head, and 12 minutes in turbo — and it prints all three numbers instead of just the flattering one.

Twelve minutes of turbo is the honest number to plan around. That isn't a knock on this vacuum in particular — it's roughly what max power costs on every cordless stick, including the expensive ones. If your cleaning loop is one floor of hard surfaces, twelve minutes of boost plus thirty of normal power covers a whole apartment with battery to spare.
