Burt's Bees Baby 100% Organic Cotton Burp Cloths, 17x11.75 in, 5-Pack

Why it's worth it

These are GOTS-certified organic cotton muslin at 47 inches square, which is the largest useful swaddling size and the most rigorously documented fabric in this group. Get them if certification is the thing you care about most.

If organic certification is your priority, this is the straightforward answer. GOTS covers the whole chain — cotton grown without synthetic pesticides, processed without the chemical finishes that show up in cheaper textiles. For fabric that's against a newborn's skin twelve or more hours a day, some parents want that documented rather than implied. This listing states it plainly.

The 47-inch size ties with our top pick and beats most singles you'll find. That extra fabric is what lets you tuck a wrap under a baby's back and have it stay put. Three blankets isn't a full rotation on its own, but it's a real start, and it's a reasonable base to add singles to later.
