Why it's worth it

Five burners changes how you cook for a crowd. You can run two zones hot for searing, keep a third at medium for chicken, and leave the far end low for holding food while the rest finishes. Add the infrared side burner for high-heat searing and the rear burner for the rotisserie, and this handles a full menu without anyone waiting on a second round.

The V-Grids are a genuinely clever piece of design. Flip them one way for pointed ridges and sharp sear marks; flip them over and the V-channels catch drippings, which run back onto the food. The full-coverage Flav-R-Wave system vaporizes what gets past them. Together they do the same job as Weber's Flavorizer bars, with a bit more control over how much basting you get.
