Why it's worth it

The Alpha85 pairs 2,000 amps and up to 60 starts per charge with a 3.3-inch display showing voltage, charge level and error codes. If you hate guessing whether a pack is ready or why a jump failed, this is the one that answers you.

The display fixes the one thing every other pack here gets wrong. A 3.3-inch screen shows charge percentage, battery voltage and status codes. When a jump doesn't take, you learn whether the pack is low, the connection is bad or the vehicle battery is beyond help. Every other unit here leaves you staring at colored dots and guessing.
