Thirteen programmable controls change what a mouse can do. If you play an MMO, a MOBA, or a strategy game, you can pull half your keybinds off the keyboard and onto your thumb. The DPI-shift button is reversible and removable, so you can set it up around your grip instead of working around Logitech's. No other mouse here gives you this much to program.

The SmartShift wheel is the feature you'll miss on every other mouse. Flick it and the wheel switches from notched, precise clicking to a free spin that coasts through a long inventory or a document in one motion. It's a small mechanism that changes how you move around a game, and going back to a fixed wheel afterward feels slow.
