Why it's worth it

This 11-piece set covers rounds, a rectangle, a square, a loaf, muffins and two sheet pans, all with a PTFE-free ceramic coating. It comes with storage organizers, and it costs more than everything else here combined.

If you want to replace all your bakeware at once with nothing PFAS-related in it, this is the set. Caraway states the coating is free of PTFE, PFOA, PFAS, lead and cadmium. The pieces cover essentially every shape a home baker uses — two 9-inch rounds, a 9x13 with handles, a 9-inch square, a one-pound loaf pan, a 12-cup muffin pan, two sheet pans and a cooling rack.

The storage organizers are a bigger deal than they sound. Bakeware is awkward to store, and sheet pans in particular end up leaning in a cabinet where they scratch each other. The included racks give each piece a slot. Owners consistently mention the storage system as the thing that surprised them, and it's a real reason this set gets bought as a wedding or shower gift.
