Why it's worth it

The Pro X 2 Lightspeed is built around positional accuracy and sub-1ms wireless, and it's the headset several tier-1 esports orgs use. Fifty hours of battery and two sets of ear pads make it livable outside of matches too.

PC Gamer measured its LIGHTSPEED wireless as perceptually indistinguishable from wired in blind FPS testing — sub-1ms latency through the dongle. PCMag notes it's the official headset of Team Liquid and NaVi, among others. If you play ranked shooters and you've wondered whether wireless is costing you anything, this is the headset that answers no.

The 50mm graphene drivers are tuned for information, not spectacle. Footsteps, reloads and directional cues come through clean and separated, which is exactly what you want in a competitive queue. The tradeoff is that music and cinematic games sound a little flat compared to the Astro or HyperX. Owners who came expecting audiophile sound at this price say so plainly.
